Job summary

Social Factor is seeking a German-speaking Community Moderator for project-based, temporary or part-time work in the United States. The role focuses on developing and managing digital communities for well-known brands, with opportunities across platforms.

The ideal candidate will have native German, strong moderation experience, and the ability to mirror brand voices while maintaining excellent communication and grammar.

Qualifications

• Native-level German language proficiency.
• Deep knowledge of German pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang.
• Ability to mirror brand voice and engage with users.
• Previous social media moderation experience required; live stream moderation a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; spelling and grammar tested.
• Familiar with major platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn.
• Strong computer and internet requirements: Windows 10/macOS 12 and ≥150 Mbps.
• AI tools encouraged for practice, but not during live interview conversations.

Responsibilities

• Moderate communities across brands to foster growth and healthy engagement.
• Engage with users in a manner consistent with each brand voice and guidelines.
• Assist with live streams when required and adapt quickly to different brands.
