Job summary

UHA University Health Associates in Morgantown, WV, invites applications for a Geriatrics physician in the Section of Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine and Hospice. The successful candidate will practice geriatrics, teach students and residents, and participate in interdepartmental collaboration at WVU Medicine.

The appointment may be at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, with duties spanning inpatient and outpatient geriatric care and opportunities across WV sites as

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligible for state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency and Geriatrics fellowship.
• Board certified or eligible in Geriatrics.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of Geriatrics and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Involved in teaching and providing geriatrics consultation for frail older adults with complex conditions including dementia and delirium.
• Collaborate with WVU Medicine cardiology, oncology, neurology and pulmonary teams.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient geriatric services across Morgantown and other WV sites as needed.
