Job summary

WVU Medicine in Morgantown, WV seeks a Geriatrician to join the Section of Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine and Hospice as Assistant/Associate/Professor. Responsibilities include patient care in geriatrics and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

The position may require service at additional sites across West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania with travel; candidate must be MD/DO, board eligible/certified in geriatrics, and complete geriatrics fellowship.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligible for state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Geriatrics at Morgantown and other WVU sites.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with cardiology, oncology, neurology, and pulmonary as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement.
