Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Geriatrician to join the Section of Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine and Hospice in Morgantown, WV. The role will involve patient care in geriatrics and active teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

The successful candidate may be assigned to additional worksites in WV, MD, and PA with travel as needed. Board-eligible or board-certified in Geriatrics is required, and an MD or DO degree is essential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board eligible/certified in Geriatrics.
• Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency, plus Geriatrics fellowship.
• Ability to teach medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in geriatrics across assigned sites.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with cardiology, oncology, neurology and pulmonary teams.
