Ascension Living PACE Michigan in Flint, MI is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician with geriatrics fellowship preferred. Position Highlights
  • Join an established team of 2 other physicians and 3 Apps

  • Practice setting: Majority of time will be in the outpatient clinic, ability to round on patients as needed in local hospital(s) and occasionally a home visit might be necessary.
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system

About PACE
  • The Program for All Inclusive Care (PACE) is an alternative to nursing home care and â through an interdisciplinary care team of physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists, and aides â coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services, so older individuals can continue living in the community.
  • Aged 55 years old or older.
  • Live in a PACE provider's service area.
  • Certified by the state as meeting the need for the nursing home level of care.
  • Able to live safely in the community with the help of PACE services at the time you enroll.
  • While there are no financial eligibility requirements, PACE programs are covered by Medicare and Medicaid for eligible individuals.
  • PACE services are also available on a private pay basis.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
