Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Program Coordinator I to provide administrative, operational and programmatic support to the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine research program, including two NIH-funded projects. Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job.
• 1-2 years administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides operational and administrative support to the research program.
• Establishes and manages data use agreements, consulting agreements, and other research related contracts.
• Preparing, submitting, and maintaining IRB protocols, including amendments, continuing reviews, and study documentation.
• Tracking publication output, and ensuring compliance with public access requirements.
• Managing website and intranet pages.
• Scheduling meetings and conferences, and organizing site visits.
• Preparing presentation slides and other program materials.
• Securing purchase orders, submitting invoices, ensuring their timely payment, and facilitating subject fee disbursements.
• Preparing and submitting travel and reimbursement requests.
• Requesting IT system access and equipment provisioning for program staff.
• Facilitating secure data management for research studies by requesting protected folders and managing access.
