Job summary

Paulding Care Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our In House Rehab Team. The OTA will work toward restoring function and preventing further decline, with strong observation and communication skills and collaboration with the rehab team.

Requirements include GA licensure, flexibility to cover weekends, and ability to document and bill according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold GA OTA license or license eligible.
• Flexibility to work weekends or weekend rotations.
• Eligible to treat and document under applicable guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients following acceptable practice standards and payer guidelines.
• Record daily treatment charges per billing guidelines.
• Document daily notes and progress notes per documentation guidelines.
• Participate in patient/resident care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Participate in in-service training for staff.
