Job summary

EveryAge PACE seeks a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for the Carolina SeniorCare and Elderhaus programs in Lexington, NC. This role combines executive medical oversight with direct patient care as a PCP within the PACE model.

The successful candidate will drive quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based medical policies while engaging families and the interdisciplinary care team in a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board Certification in Geriatrics preferred.
• DEA Registration and North Carolina Controlled Substance Certification.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical leadership and medical oversight for the PACE programs.
• Lead and support physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Ensure high-quality, participant-centered care across all care settings.
• Coordinate medical services with other clinical disciplines to promote seamless care delivery.
• Participate in rounds across primary care, hospital, and nursing facilities.
