Job summary

The APP will evaluate medical problems, develop treatment plans, educate patients, and document care in compliance with regulatory standards. Requires APRN/PA certification and relevant licensure.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA advanced practice education and licensure required.
• Experience preferred in APRN/PA roles within internal medicine or geriatrics.
• APRN/PA certification and state licensure are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical problems in the internal medicine/geriatrics setting.
• Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient care with the supervising physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Document evaluations, diagnoses, treatments and outcomes per standards.
• Provide patient and family education on preventive care and treatments.
