Job summary

Northern Arizona VA Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Geriatrics & Extended Care (Community Living Center) team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to Veterans in hospice, dementia, short-stay, and long-stay settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must meet licensing and education requirements, including ACEN/CCNE accreditation or bridge pathways.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• State-licensure as RN (full, active, unrestricted) required.
• Nursing program must be ACEN/CCNE-accredited or bridge programs may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Veterans in Geriatrics & Extended Care (CLC).
• Collaborate with care team including nurses, assistants, social workers, and providers.
• Adhere to VA policies; cover 24/7 hospital schedule as needed.
