Labela is seeking U.S.-based geriatricians at every career stage for high-level clinical consulting to validate, refine, and audit AI-driven clinical reasoning in geriatrics. This fully remote role aims to influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

The engagement runs from July 30 to August 31, 2026, with flexible, project-based hours. Texas-based candidates are prioritized, but the role is remote nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine (ABIM/ABFM) or current senior resident/fellow (PGY-2+).
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: review AI-generated diagnostic strategies for AGS-aligned care.
• High-Complexity Validation: provide expert-level ground truth for geriatric case presentations and polypharmacy review.
• Safety Oversight: identify inaccuracies in AI outputs affecting patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: advise on AI-driven clinical decision support for geriatric care.

Overview

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Geriatricians at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with AGS standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate geriatric case presentations, functional assessment, and polypharmacy review.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine (ABIM/ABFM), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
• Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training. Established attendings and senior trainees are equally welcome.
• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
