Ascension's Center for Healthy Aging in Indianapolis seeks a board-eligible or board-certified geriatrician to join an established, well-resourced team. This employed role offers a meaningful practice with a strong referral network and the full resources of a major nonprofit health system.

In this outpatient-focused position, you will deliver comprehensive geriatric care, lead collaborations with pharmacists, neuropsychology, and social work, and teach medical students, residents, and fellows

Qualificações

• MD/DO required and Indiana licensure before hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association/Red Cross accepted).
• Geriatrics Fellowship required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Geriatric Medicine.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered geriatric care in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support seniors’ quality of life.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in departmental activities and center missions within Ascension.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative minded Geriatrician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join a well established, collegial team
• Call structure: Minimal call, 1:9 weekends and weeknights
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered geriatric care that addresses the unique needs of older adults and supports their overall quality of life.
• Lead seamless collaboration with a robust multidisciplinary team, including specialists in pharmacy, neuropsychology, and social work, to ensure holistic patient support
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Shape the next generation of clinicians by actively teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Drive the academic and community mission of the Center for Healthy Aging through active participation in departmental activities.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine
• Geriatric Fellowship required
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
