Job summary

Cascades at Riverwalk in Midvale, Utah is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time role in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.

The RN will administer medications, perform treatments, and document care in the EMR while upholding infection control and safety policies. A current RN license, CPR, and experience in geriatric care are preferred. We offer growth, supportive teamwork, and a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in long-term geriatric nursing preferred.
• Current CPR certification and ability to read, analyze, and interpret English medical information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent on treatments in the medication/treatment log.
• Ensure proper storage and security of medications and biologicals.
• Notify physician of medication issues and adverse reactions.
• Maintain clean medication cart, refrigerator, and room; dispose of sharps properly.
• Enter key information into EMR and other computer systems.
• Practice and supervise infection control and safety policies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or disasters.
• Other duties as assigned.
