Job summary

AgeWell Senior Living, managing the Tuscan Gardens of Palm Coast, seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee the wellness team and uphold high-quality resident care. You will supervise HHAs, CNAs and staff, conduct daily rounds, and administer medications per physician orders while maintaining compassionate, professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice by the state.
• Experience in geriatric care.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Empathetic and professional demeanor towards seniors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HHAs, CNAs and facility staff.
• Make daily rounds of Assisted Living and retirement residents as needed.
• Observe and report patient conditions to DOW/RN/ED.
• Administer medications and treatments per doctor’s orders.
• Inform DOW of supply/equipment needs.
• Order medications from pharmacy when needed.
• Ensure nursing care is delivered safely and with high quality.
• Provide guidance for nursing assistants.
• Promote good interpersonal relationships with residents and staff.
• Understand duties for both assisted living and independent residents.
