Glengariff Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess referred patients, develop and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a sub-acute and long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a NY license, and experience with geriatric care. Documentation and patient education are key responsibilities, with a pay rate up to $45 per hour.

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid NY license and registration.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Excellent documentation writing skills.
• Evaluations, progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment.

Responsabilidades

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation needs and direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and progress; educate patients and families.
