Job summary

Rivetus is a specialized rehabilitation company serving the geriatric post-acute community in Three Rivers, Michigan. They are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy with documentation in accordance with ASHA standards.

The role involves collaborating with the care team, educating patients and families, and contributing to program development in a contingent/PRN capacity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC certification or eligibility.
• State of Michigan licensure (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language pathology services to patients with cognitive/communication or swallowing disorders.
• Performs screenings/evaluations and develops treatment plans.
• Documents care and adheres to licensure laws and ASHA standards.
• Collaborates with physicians and other care providers.
• Educates patients and families on treatment procedures and home programs.
• Participates in quality assurance and program development as directed.
