Rivetus Team in Livonia, MI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy to patients with cognitive/communicative and swallowing impairments. The role includes evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation of plans in a skilled nursing setting.

Schedule is Full-Time, 30 hours/week. You will document as required, collaborate with clinicians, and educate families, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and adherence to ASHA standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.

Responsabilités

• Conducts speech-language pathology screenings and evaluations to determine cognitive/communicative and swallowing status.
• Develops and implements treatment plans to maximize independence and function per ASHA standards.
• Documents the medical record accurately and maintains reimbursement-ready records.
• Collaborates with physicians and other practitioners to integrate therapy with overall health care.
• Educates patients and families on home exercise programs and treatment procedures.
