Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active or pending SLP license
• Strong interest or experience in geriatric care
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
• Committed to evidence-based, high-quality care

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs
• Provide care with independence in assisted living communities, with team guidance available
• Educate patients and caregivers to support therapy goals
• Accurately document care using EMR in compliance with state and facility standards
