Job summary

Elderwood at Lockport is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our therapy team. This full-time opportunity focuses on delivering speech-language therapy to residents, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and upholding high standards of patient care in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with an active state license and CPR/BLS certification, and preferably ASHA CCC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program.
• State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC Certification preferred when available.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current CPR/BLS credential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Speech therapy treatments.
• Maintain high standards of quality care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support resident outcomes.
• Screen residents for communication problems and contribute to therapy plans.
• Maintain documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
