Job summary

Elderwood at Cheektowaga seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Cheektowaga, NY. This role involves evaluating residents, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering therapy for swallowing and communication disorders.

Candidates should hold a Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology with an active NY license; CCC-SLP is preferred. Experience in SNF/geriatric settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current New York State SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• SNF or geriatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents and develop therapy plans.
• Provide therapy for swallowing, communication, and cognitive-linguistic issues.
• Coordinate audiometric screenings and referrals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team.
• Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance.
