Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work (MSW) or Doctor of Social Work (DSW) preferred.
• DC Social Work License preferred (LICSW preferred, LISW or LGSW may be considered).
• Minimum two years' experience in Senior or Assisted Living or similar environments.
• Knowledge of HCBS Medicaid Program and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the social services department.
• Assess residents' psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Advocate for residents and assist with government benefits (HCBS, Food Stamps).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to address social issues affecting residents.
• Document all matters related to personnel administration and care plans.
