Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation in Burnsville, NC is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric residents.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with NC licensure (CFY or CCC-SLP preferred). Experience in a skilled nursing setting is a plus; strong teamwork and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current North Carolina SLP license or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY considered.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy per federal, state, and facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and rehab staff.
