Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team. The role emphasizes competency, ethical practice, and adherence to state nursing standards in a Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state board where practice occurs and maintains required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
