Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care for patients by following physician orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Administers medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as ordered and per facility policies.
• Leads, guides, and supervises nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assists physicians with rounds and attends to patients during rounds and examinations.
• Performs shift treatments and documents accordingly; maintains infection control.
• Adheres to cleanliness, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Assists with research related to nursing care quality.
• Assists with records, orders, assessments, and scheduling of annual physicals.
