Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in North Carolina. You will assist in directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and contribute to high-quality geriatric care.

You will observe patient conditions, delegate tasks, notify physicians in emergencies, implement orders, and perform other duties as assigned. CPR certification and an active NC LPN license are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential from an accredited program.
• Current license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and license renewals every other year.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies to assure adequate coverage.
• CPR certified yearly.

Responsibilities

• Assists in directing nursing services for unit/hall under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to professional and non-professional nursing staff and monitors performance under RN supervision.
• Observes patients for signs of adverse change in physical or mental condition.
• Notifies attending physician of emergencies and death; implements physician orders as instructed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
