Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Hawaii to provide professional nursing care to residents per facility policy. You will administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and monitor patient status in a supportive team environment.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate and Hawaii RN license, with geriatric experience and knowledge of medical terms. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license required.
• Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation required.
• First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).

Responsibilities

• Administers medications/treatments as ordered by physician and policy.
• Takes telephone orders from physicians and transcribes to records.
• Maintains and orders inventory of resident medications and stock.
• Conducts accurate physical assessments and implements interventions.
• Performs admissions, transfers and discharges assessments.
