Job summary

Allied Services is seeking a Van Transporter to assist nursing staff by transporting residents and preparing equipment. The role requires maintaining hygienic conditions and providing age-appropriate care under supervision.

Education includes a high school diploma and Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program; driving a multi-passenger vehicle is preferred. Experience as a Nurse Aide in geriatric settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program is required.
• Experience driving a multi-passenger vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical care of residents, including hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with oral hygiene, weight residents, and restorative nursing procedures.
• Transports residents to and from nursing areas and appointments.
• Pass trays, feed residents and monitor hydration when needed.
• Assist in admission procedures and the regulation of visits.
