Job summary

LIFE Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated aide at the Adult Day Health Center to support restorative and rehabilitative care for elderly participants. Under supervision of licensed therapists and the Center Administrator, you will assist with daily activities, documentation, equipment maintenance, and caregiver training across the center and community settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with therapists, ensuring safety and adherence to care plans, and promoting independence and dignity

Qualifications

• Geriatric care knowledge and terminology.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Proficient in email and basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative or rehabilitative care under licensed therapists.
• Assist in scheduling rehabilitation and home assessments.
• Maintain equipment/inventory and safety checks.
• Document interventions and plan of care accurately.
• Instruct caregivers and families on program performance.
