Job summary

Mercy Health Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment for adult and geriatric patients. You will work under Therapy Leadership to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment.

The role includes supervision duties, ongoing professional development, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to support patient mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Direct supervision to patients; indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Communicate treatment strategies and progress with patients, families, and care teams.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and ensure licensure/competencies are up to date.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
