Job summary

KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP in Pullman, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position. You will provide nursing care as prescribed by physicians and facility policy.

Duties include medication administration, documentation, resident assessments, notifying physicians of changes, infection control, and participation in QA and training.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license is required; long-term geriatric care experience preferred. Sign-on bonus of $5,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active license as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in long term geriatric nursing care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer and document medications, tests upon which the administration of medications are dependent, and perform treatments according to orders.
• Record time spent performing treatments in accordance with policies.
• Assess resident’s response to medication with prompt physician notification of adverse effects.
• Notify physician of refusals or non-compliance with treatment plans.
• Inform resident and family about medication plans and possible side effects.
