Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and focuses on geriatric care, evaluating and treating residents with independence and compassion.

The PTA works under the supervision as needed and collaborates with PTs to design therapies that improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote wellness for residents in our facility.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of practice.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently with supervision as needed.
• Experience or interest in geriatric populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and overall wellness.
• Help relieve pain and prevent or limit disability in residents of a skilled nursing facility.
• Contribute to treatment planning and document progress with the care team.
