Job summary

Engage Senior Therapy, part of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Bedford, NH. You will deliver compassionate care at assisted living facilities, assisting therapists and supporting geriatric patients to regain mobility and independence.

You will educate patients and families, document care in EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment that promotes growth and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Interest in working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care according to the treatment plan.
• Assist patients with walking, transferring, and dressing as necessary.
• Conduct therapy practices within defined standards of care.
• Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Adhere to company policies, safety, and infection control standards.
• Deliver care at assisted living locations and educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
