Job summary

Edge Recruitment Solutions seeks a Physical Therapist to assess participants in facility and home settings, defining care needs and goals with an interdisciplinary team.

You will deliver PT interventions, document outcomes, and support functional training for frail elderly patients. The role requires CA licensure and prior OTA experience; Master’s/Doctorate preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid California Physical Therapy license or proof of license eligibility.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• At least two years of OTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge to treat frail, elderly participants with complex conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PT assessments in facility and in the home to define care needs and goals.
• Participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans.
• Deliver and document PT interventions per physician orders or care plans.
• Provide active/passive exercises, gait and ADL training; treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise Therapy Assistants and train staff on Functional Maintenance Programs.
