Edge Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a healthcare organization to hire a California-licensed Occupational Therapist for their Elk Grove PACE program. The OT will assess participants, set care goals, and participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to develop and implement care plans, including device use and activities to improve functional independence.

The role requires an OT degree from ACOTE/AOTA accredited programs, 2+ years in a clinical elderly population, and supervisory

Qualifications

• Must have OT degree from an ACOTE/AOTA accredited program.
• CA licensed occupational therapist with at least 2 years of clinical OT experience with frail/elderly.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and ability to mentor team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT assessments to define care needs, preferences and goals.
• Develop and participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to plan care.
• Deliver and document OT interventions per physician orders and care plans.
• Supervise therapy assistants and provide training for Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP).
