Job summary

Providence PACE Spokane is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to implement treatment plans for geriatric participants, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will help address neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders, using therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and patient education to restore mobility, reduce pain, and promote healing.

Coordination of home care is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapist Association.
• Upon hire: Washington Physical Therapy Assistant License.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders per the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in restoring mobility and function, reducing pain, and promoting healing for geriatric participants.
• Provide home care coordination as part of the care plan.
