Job summary

TeamHealth in Tennessee is seeking a psychotherapist to provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy in post-acute and long-term care settings (SNF/LTC/ALF/IRF). The role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support with no nights or weekends.

This full-time position covers Fayetteville and surrounding Tennessee communities, with onsite patient care and remote documentation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as LPC or LMFT.
• LCSW not considered at this time.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a psychotherapist.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy.
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss plus life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Cover Fayetteville, Tullahoma, Lynchburg, Manchester, and Smyrna, Tennessee with onsite patient care and remote documentation.

Education

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in TN
