Job summary

TeamHealth in Cookeville, TN is seeking a full-time psychotherapist to deliver individual psychotherapy and comprehensive assessments for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings. You’ll work within a clinician-led, supportive system offering strong organizational backing and flexible, round-and-go scheduling with remote documentation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, grief, and life transitions while collaborating

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as LPC or LMFT (LCSW not accepted).
• Minimum of 6 months psychotherapy experience.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.
• Eligible for independent practice and billing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and individual psychotherapy.
• Treat depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, grief, and life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Coverage area includes Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta, and nearby Tennessee locations.
