Deer Oaks Behavioral Health seeks a licensed psychologist to join our integrated clinical team onsite at long-term care facilities in the local community, providing therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support.

This position offers professional autonomy, a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and robust administrative and clinical support to focus on helping residents thrive. We emphasize geriatric care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with current state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to older adults and those with complex medical or cognitive needs.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage caseload independently while upholding ethical and professional standards.
