Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide on-site clinical services in long-term care facilities. You will conduct assessments, provide psychotherapy, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The role offers Monday–Friday scheduling, autonomy with robust support, and opportunities for professional development in geriatric behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or PsyD/PhD in psychology required with active state license.
• Experience providing geriatric psychology services in long‑term care settings preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document compliant records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and mental status exams.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex medical needs.
• Facilitate family and caregiver support sessions; lead or co-lead group therapy.
• Develop evidence‑based treatment plans and manage caseload independently.
• Collaborate daily with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehab teams.
