Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to deliver therapy, assessments, and care planning in LTC facilities. You will operate within an interdisciplinary team with clinical autonomy and supportive administration.

The role focuses on evaluations, individual and family therapy for older adults, group sessions, and evidence-based treatment planning, while maintaining compliant documentation and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level psychologist licensure.
• Experience delivering therapy to older adults in LTC settings preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously within interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong documentation and ethical practice required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex conditions.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy as appropriate.
• Provide behavioral management interventions for residents and staff.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage caseload independently with professional judgment.
