Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services seeks a licensed psychologist to work on-site in local LTC facilities, delivering therapy, assessments, and care planning with a strong interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes autonomy, Monday–Friday scheduling, and access to robust clinical support.

You will conduct evaluations, provide individual and group therapies, and contribute to treatment planning while ensuring timely documentation and compliance with HIPAA and APA

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted psychologist license is required.
• Experience delivering therapy and assessments in LTC settings is preferred.
• Strong documentation and HIPAA compliance skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex needs.
• Facilitate family and caregiver support sessions; lead group therapy as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage caseload with clinical judgment.
• Collaborate daily with nursing, social work, physicians and rehab teams.
