Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services seeks a Licensed Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team onsite at local long-term care facilities. You will provide therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support for older adults, with a predictable Monday–Friday schedule and strong clinical and administrative backing.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology.
• Experience with geriatric populations in LTC settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently within interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong documentation and compliance with HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to older adults with complex medical/cognitive conditions.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions when appropriate.
• Provide behavioral management interventions to support residents, staff, and families.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage caseload independently while maintaining ethical standards.
