Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team in long-term care facilities. You will provide therapy, assessments, and care planning for older adults, working within an interdisciplinary team and maintaining high standards of care.

The role offers regular Monday–Friday hours, strong clinical support, and opportunities for professional development in geriatric behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Must hold a license as a psychologist in the state.
• Experience delivering therapy to older adults with complex medical/cognitive conditions preferred.
• Excellent documentation and adherence to regulatory/ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments, mental status exams, and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to older adults.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions.
• Provide behavioral management interventions to support residents, staff, and families.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage caseload independently while maintaining ethical and professional standards.
