Job summary

RYACO is seeking a Medical Assistant in Snellville, GA to join our geriatric psychiatry team. You will prepare patients for appointments, obtain vital signs, update medications, and reconciling medications within the EHR.

You will facilitate both in-office and telehealth visits, orient patients and caregivers, and coordinate Creyos cognitive testing and TMS-related activities under provider supervision. Experience with Athena EHR is a plus and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Requires Medical Assistant education, training, or relevant medical-office experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with older adults, caregivers, and family members.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
• Willingness to complete Creyos and TMS training and demonstrate competency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments, obtain vital signs, update medications and medical history, and perform medication reconciliation.
• Facilitate in-office and telehealth consultations by pre-visit chart review and ensuring equipment operability.
• Assist providers with exams, scheduling referrals, and explaining procedures in a dementia-friendly manner.
• Coordinate Creyos cognitive testing and schedule testing, ensuring documentation for provider review.
