Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions seeks qualified psychiatric professionals to provide face-to-face services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and other settings in Bainbridge Island, WA. You will assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Role offers W2 billable or 1099 contractor options, with schedule flexibility to fit patient needs and licensure. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• Malpractice insurance if independent contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
• 1 year of geriatric psych experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or acute rehab hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
