UAB Medicine is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for the Geri Psychiatry unit at UAB St. Vincent's East. The role involves direct patient care in a 80-bed unit with a focus on stabilization, recovery, and long-term wellness.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, collaboration with the treatment team, and leading group therapy sessions as needed. Licensure and BLS are required within specified timelines.

Formación

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and licensure at time of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients according to facility policies.
• Conduct initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments and develop a nursing plan of care.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to plan and revise goals and interventions.
• Implement nursing plan of care and co-lead group therapy sessions.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the nursing plan in collaboration with the treatment team.
