Qualified candidates have internal medicine training, NY license, board certification or eligibility, and experience with geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population; or within a nursing home environment.
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in a primary care specialty.
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine.
• Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges.
• Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State.
• Proficient in SigmaCare or a similar Electronic Medical Record software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver appropriate, compassionate and adequate care to Parker's residents.
• Lead clinical care in the Medical Department as Attending Physician.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
