Job summary

MRC in Bryan, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to help older adults regain strength and mobility under a licensed Physical Therapist. You will guide residents through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living, while documenting progress and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an accredited PTA program background, an active Texas PTA license, and 2–3 years of experience in skilled nursing or senior living settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Two to three years of experience in skilled nursing or senior living settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans under a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist residents with therapeutic exercise and daily activities.
• Help residents safely use walkers, canes, or other devices and monitor progress.
• Record ROM, vital signs, and treatment responses accurately.
• Communicate changes to the supervising therapist and collaborate with care teams.
