PACS seeks a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate residents, communicate with families and physicians, and maintain documentation in medical records. This role involves collaboration with the health team and ongoing training for facility staff.

The position emphasizes supervising PT assistants, developing individualized plans, and contributing to quality assurance and safety programs within the facility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state; continuing education per state requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence.
• Assist nursing staff with training of Restorative Aides.
• Supervise PT assistants in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate progress, goals, and discharge plans with physicians, nursing staff, and families.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)
