Job summary

Lake Placid Health & Rehab in Lake Placid, Florida, seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in a 180-bed skilled nursing facility. You will design individualized plans, provide one-on-one sessions, and educate families on proper techniques to support recovery and independence.

The role requires a Florida PT license, strong communication, and teamwork to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and promote evidence-based practice in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
Currently licensed or certified as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive initial and progress evaluations of patients.
Create and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, including exercises, routines, and modalities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on proper techniques, self-care strategies, and home exercise programs.
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and timely.
